The National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa is dedicated to assisting people in distress both at sea and on inland waters. The NSRI is amongst the world’s oldest sea rescue organisations, the NSRI is proud of its non-racial and non-sexist conduct. The Institute relies solely upon fully trained volunteers to keep South African waters safe.
Working closely with other similar groups around the world enables the Institute to provide the best and most up to date rescue techniques. The NSRI is internationally recognised as an authoritative and creditable safety and rescue organisation.
